We’re working our way down from grade school to preschool.
If people had to appear by video or in person we would at least know the weasel was there.
Sounds like political minutiae to me, which is a polite word for excrement.
I suppose we could have the courts micromanage every aspect of elections through litigation, if that’s the way we wanted to run things. But I don’t know that that’s the most efficient way to govern.
I see on the horizon one of those historic forks in the road.
We’re seeing nothing but bad news in how this would roll out.
2016 was a challenging political year, with out-of-state interests keen on taking advantage of Arizona electricity customers through ballot initiatives and at the polls; our efforts were focused on not allowing that to happen.
It makes no sense to say that the Legislature must garner a two-thirds vote to impose a tax, but that a bare majority of legislators can give unelected officials the power to force Arizonans to pay ‘assessments’ at any amount the official chooses.
I’m sure there are creative people out there in the ad, design business who are probably looking forward to the opportunity.
The only person that believes that there’s been any wrongdoing is Mr. Burns.
