It’s very difficult to get an accurate assessment of an election based on door-to-door canvassing, just due to the various types of research challenges in that sort of methodology, whether it’s reporting bias or fulfillment bias or whatever – there are a variety of technological terms that point to why this is a very bad and unscientific way of getting to any sort of truth.
